For the first time in over a decade, SEAoO will be adjusting membership dues to keep pace with rising costs from NCSEA and to continue delivering high‑quality education and networking opportunities.
2026 Membership Dues
Professional & General Members: $80
Associate Members: $50 (no increase)
Students: Free
Associate Membership Update
To better support young engineers, Associate Membership has been extended from one year after graduation to the first five years after graduation (or until you pass the PE exam).
For those renewing as an associate member please reach out to [email protected] to update your status.

Open Forum - May 12
The SEAoO Sustainable Design Committee is hosting an open forum at our next meeting, May 12 12:00-1:00 and invites all members to participate. This session will provide an opportunity to ask questions, share challenges, and discuss successes related to sustainable design in structural engineering. Whether you are new to sustainable design or have experience applying it in practice, your perspective is welcome.
Join the conversation, learn from fellow members, and help shape future committee efforts. Meeting details will be shared separately—we hope to see you there.

| The Basic Education committee has received several applications for the 2026 Education Award from students throughout the state of Ohio. 'The application phase is now complete and presentations are due March 31, 2026. The panel of experts are excited at the prospect of watching hours of presentations next month as we narrow down our choices and select who will win a portion of the $5000 total prize money this year. |
