Presentation 1: Structural Modeling: An Essential Skill for Engineers

Learning how to properly model in structural software can save you both time and money.  This presentation will cover the common pitfalls of structural modeling, and will include important tips to keep in mind when building models.  Also covered will be rules of thumb for FEA plate modeling, as well as methods of integrating/coordinating a structural model between multiple software applications.  Expect to learn the best practices to improve the speed and accuracy of your structural designs.


Presentation 2: Considerations When Using Drone Technology

Aerial Visions LLC (, a drone service company, will educate us about drone technology in our industry.  We will learn who can use it, what can be done with it, where it is applicable, why you should use it, and lastly how to use it.

Drone technology is here and here to stay.  It is not a matter of if engineers will be using this technology - it is a matter of when.  We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces and teaching you about a technology that will help you do your job and help you do it better.
